2016 Rochester Cyclocross

And just like that, the weekend was over!  It was an amazing 3 days and we were thrilled that so many of you came out and had a blast!  Results from the weekend can be found here and more photos from Brian Boucheron will be up soon!

Stay tuned for 2017 dates!

We moved! That’s right, we outgrew our previous location and so we have an amazing new venue – Genesee Valley Park !  The name has changed as well, we’re now ROCHESTER CYCLOCROSS!

Our Class 1 (C1) event is Saturday, September 10th and Class 2 (C2) is Sunday, September 11th – 2016 will be bigger and better than ever!  As the only UCI race in America this weekend, the competition with be the fiercest and the crowds will be incredible!

So mark your calendar for September 9th, 10th and 11th because you won’t want to miss a second of the action! We kick off early this year on Friday with a pro-only course preview, a Clinic by a TBD pro racer, and a non-sanctioned Rochester Cyclocross Night Fondo!

PRO TEAM PARKING: MUST be reserved in advance so please register today @ BIKEREG.COM!

So why the move to a new park? After 8 years of growing our event, we simply outgrew our old venue.

COURSE – The new course is fantastic, full of features and plenty of challenges!

PARKING – Parking at our new location at Genesee Valley Park is flat, easily accessible and exceptional – for pro teams, amateur teams, vendors and spectators!

AMENITIES – The amenities at the park are amazing with all of registration under one roof, a huge shelter for the food and beer garden and water faucets close to reg, pro teams & the wheel pit!

PROXIMITY – at just 3 miles from the City of Rochester and right next to both the University of Rochester college town and Strong Memorial Hospital (our counties largest employer), this venue is close to everything!

CLUB ROW – This park has a great area for our new club row -close to parking and the race course!

And remember, if you can’t make it down for the event, watch the live feed on Gnarlymonkey.com!
